The Prevention Alliance of Greater Prince William is a collaborative platform created for our community and by our community. Our organizational members, partners, and concerned residents serve our community with great dedication to address important issues such as substance use and misuse, suicide, mental health outcomes and co-occurring disorders in the Greater Prince William Area. Community partners from Prince William County, the City of Manassas and the City of Manassas Park began meeting regularly in 1996 to leverage human and fiscal resources as well as focus on implementing best practices. Since its inception in 1996, membership has ebbed and flowed with committed partner organizations. Members have seen the cycle of substance use trends and have addressed the needs of the community with a data driven focus.
