Juvenile Justice Parenting Program: Parenting of Teens

Parenting is the most important job we will ever have and yet we get very little training to prepare us.

Consider a Parenting Class if:

  • You find yourself yelling more than laughing with your children…
  • You want to know more about the next stage in their development…
  • You want to help your child learn and encourage cooperation at home…
  • Support your child’s positive self-image…
  • Discover new ways to work together as a family…
  • Explore some new discipline techniques…

All our leaders at the Virginia Cooperative Extension are parents.  They have participated in one of the parenting classes and completed an extensive training program that prepares them to present new skills and ideas while facilitating the group.

Our team of staff and instructors are here for you.  Please call us at 703-792-6288 or email parenteducation@pwcgov.org  with your questions.

The latest parenting class schedules, flyers, and registration forms for all classes and trainings provided by the Virginia Cooperative Extension are available at http://www.pwcva.gov/parenting. Be sure to bookmark the new web
